まだ自転車のチューブ交換やタイヤ交換をしたことがない。

パンクしたときのためいつもチューブを１個持って自転車に乗っているがパンクのとき交換にどのくらい時間がかかるかそしてスムースに交換できるか、今日はチューブ交換の練習です。

まずはブレーキを解除。タイヤをはずす。今回は後輪です。後輪はいつも圧が下がっているので交換することにしてました。

I always carry one tube with me when I have a flat tire, but today I am practicing tube replacement to see how long it will take to replace it when it is flat and how smoothly it can be replaced.

First, release the brake. Remove the tire. This time is the rear wheel. The pressure on the rear wheels is always low, so I decided to replace it.

次にエアーを抜いて工具を使ってタイヤをホイールからはずす。これにちょっと手間取る。すこしずつビード？をホイールからはずしていく。はずれたらチューブを引き抜く。タイヤにチューブがはりついてしまっている。引き剥がすようにチューブをはずす。

タイヤ自体もひび割れが少しある。だいぶ痛んでいる。これももうそろそろ交換だ。

Then bleed the air and use a tool to remove the tire from the wheel. This takes a little time. A little bead? Remove from the wheel. If it comes off, pull out the tube. The tube is stuck to the tire. Remove the tube so that it can be peeled off.

The tire itself has some cracks. It’s hurt a lot. This is about to be replaced.

チューブ交換:Tube replacement

あたらしいチューブに少し空気を入れホイールにはめ込んでいく。タイヤをホイールにはめ込んで終わりは少し工具の力を借りてはめ込む。少し振動を与えて全体をなじませて空気を入れて出来上がり。

Put some air in the new tube and fit it into the wheel. Fit the tires into the wheels and at the end with a little tool power. Give a little vibration to let the whole blend in and add air to finish.
