テレビが面白くなくなってだいぶたつが、だらだらと見ていたのも事実。興味を持って見るのは、ドキュメンタリーや映画、ニュースといったところだろうか。
先日、書店によって自転車の雑誌を見にいった。大して新しい情報も無く、書店の正面の目立つところには、今話題の書籍やベストセラーなどのコーナーがあり、眺めていたらちょっと本でも読んでみるかと思い1冊買った。
これがなかなか面白くすぐに読み終わってしまった。そこでまた書店へ、新刊の書籍はちょっと高いので文庫本を物色する。本の帯というのかちょっと興味をそそることが書いてあったので買ってしまった。あとで気づいてのだがその物語はテレビ化されたされたものだった。確かにテレビでも見たことがある内容だったが、テレビとは違って文章からその雰囲気を頭の中で想像する面白さと登場人物の表情やしぐさもよく感じ取れ、テレビのように見せられるのではなく頭の中で画像を動かしているような、テレビが薄っぺらい物に思われてしまう。
いわゆる推理小説だったが、もうテレビでは、この種のサスペンス物は見たくもなくなってしまった。
それからいろいろ本を買い込んで9月に入ってもう6冊目、今読んでいるのは、ＢＳで放送がされたものだが、ＢＳでは一部しか見ることが出来なかった。ＢＳの映像や物語よりさらに複雑で濃密で面白い。上、下２刊にわたって複雑な物語に入り込んでいる。
私は自分を理系だと思っていたし。この理系は本を読まない。読みたくも無かったし、興味も無かった。しかし、とうとう読書ジジーとなってしまうのかもしれない。新たな楽しみを覚え始めたのだろうか。
本の種類にもいくつかあるのを知った。今読んでいる種類は大衆文学というのだそうだ。それとは別に純文学というのがあるそうだ。こんなことも知らなかったジジーは、まずはとっつきやすい大衆文学にとうとう気づいてしまったのか。
さて今月はあと何冊読むのだろうか、これが続くのか、最近は目がかすんできたので読書用の老眼鏡が欲しくなてきた。

The other day, I went to see a bicycle magazine by a bookstore. There wasn’t much new information, and in the prominent place in front of the bookstore, there was a corner for books and bestsellers that are currently being talked about.
This was quite interesting and I finished reading it immediately. So I went to the bookstore again, and since the new books are a little expensive, I searched for paperback books. I bought it because it was written that it was a book obi or something that was a little intriguing. As I realized later, the story was made into a television. It was certainly something I had seen on TV, but unlike TV, the fun of imagining the atmosphere in my head and the facial expressions and gestures of the characters can be felt well, and it may look like TV. The TV seems to be flimsy, as if you were moving the image in your head.
It was a so-called detective novel, but I don’t want to see this kind of suspense on TV anymore.
After that, I bought various books, and in September, I was reading the sixth book, which was broadcast on BS, but I could only see a part of it on BS. It is more complicated, dense and interesting than BS images and stories. It goes into a complicated story over the first and second publications.
I thought I was a science person. This science does not read books. I didn’t want to read it, and I wasn’t interested in it. However, it may finally become a reading jizzy. Did they start to learn new fun?
I learned that there are several types of books. The kind I’m reading now is popular literature. Apart from that, there seems to be pure literature. Did Gigi, who didn’t even know this, finally noticed the easy-to-follow popular literature?
By the way, I wonder how many more books I will read this month, and I wonder if this will continue. Recently, my eyes have become blurred, so I have come to want reading glasses for reading.
